Meet the Team
Samantha Blair, PhD, NCSP
Certified School Psychologist
Dr. Blair is a licensed psychologist and certified school psychologist in Maine and holds the National Certification in School Psychology (NCSP). She conducts comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for Beacon Light Neuropsychology. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults in a variety of settings including schools, university clinics, and community mental health centers. Dr. Blair earned her Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and completed her pre-doctoral internship in the Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District just outside of Houston, Texas. Her postdoctoral training was with the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of California, Davis MIND Institute.
Dr. Blair’s clinical interests include academic challenges, behavioral concerns, ADHD, and autism. She prioritizes working collaborative with parents and teachers and making recommendations that are individualized and feasible across settings.
Outside of work, Dr. Blair enjoys going to beach, learning ballet, and spending time with her family and friends.
